Why do I still see ads after buying No Ads?

If you purchased No Ads and still see ads, here is how to fix it.

FIRST, CHECK WHAT KIND OF AD IT IS

• Optional reward videos, marked with a video icon, are part of the game for everyone. They only play if you tap them, and they are normal after buying No Ads.
• Forced ads between runs, or banners: those should be gone. Keep reading.

QUICK FIXES

Before anything else, open Settings and tap Restore Purchases. This re-applies a purchase the game has lost track of, and it is the fastest fix by far.

1. Restart the game. The purchase sometimes needs a fresh start to take effect.
2. Make sure you are signed in to the same Apple or Google account that made the purchase.
3. Confirm the purchase went through: check your receipt in your purchase history (Apple: reportaproblem.apple.com, Google: play.google.com under Payments & subscriptions).
