How do I move my progress to a new phone?

Here is how to bring your progress to a new phone.

ON YOUR OLD PHONE, BEFORE YOU STOP USING IT

1. Open Profile and make sure you are signed in
2. Play one run, so the latest progress is saved

If you are not signed in on the old phone, do it now. A save that was never signed in cannot be recovered later.

ON YOUR NEW PHONE

1. Install Paper.io 2 from the App Store or Play Store
2. Open Profile and sign in with the same account
3. When the game asks which saved game to load, choose the one from your account

Your countries, skins and coins come back with it.

ONE LIMIT WORTH KNOWING

Progress stays on one platform. An iPhone save stays on iPhone and an Android save stays on Android, and there is no way to move between them. The same is true of anything you have bought.

TWO THINGS THAT CATCH PEOPLE OUT

• Game Center does not save your progress. Only the sign in inside Profile does.
• Purchases follow the same account as your progress, so you cannot keep the progress from one account and buy from another.
